MANDALAY Welcomed by our guide and transfer to hotel and leisure. Lunch on boat during visit. In the afternoon, visits with the Shwenandaw monastery (or Golden Palace monastery) a superb example of a traditional work, and Kuthodaw Pagoda, the world’s largest book, consisting of 729 marble slabs engraved with Buddhist scriptures

DAY 02

MANDALAY- AVA- AMARAPURA

- MANDALAY- AVA- AMARAPURA Breakfast. Departure around 8:30. On the way to Ava, you discover the site by bike. Visits to the ruins of the Royal Palace, the Watchtower, the beautiful Bagaya teak monastery and the MahaAungMyeBonzon brick and stucco monastery. Lunch at local restaurant (light).Departure for Amarapura always by bike and walk end of day on the picturesque UBein stilt bridge, entirely built of teak wood on nearly 1.2 km as early as 1849. It sits on Taunghaman Lake.

DAY 03

MANDALAY

BAGAN

Breakfast at hotel. Early morning transfer to Jetty. Cruise to Bagan by public boat. (8 hrs cruising). Enjoy cruising experience in River Irrawaddy by boat.

Very comfortable boat, it invites to idleness and contemplation. Since the long chairs of the higher bridge we discover new activities along the river; some fishermen collect their nets, of the boat-towers go up in neutral of long teak boats… We may see the ways of life in each village; women and children come to propose to us to drink or eat, or all kinds of things that testify magnificently to the originality of the local arts and crafts. Arrival to Bagan at the end of the afternoon.

DAY 04

BAGAN

Bike ride for the day. Visit the Shwezigon Pagoda and its golden stupa, the temples of Wetgyi Inn Gubyaukgyi and Htilominlo. Discover the ruins of the Royal Palace; of the gate of Tharaba. Visit of the lacquer workshops of the village of Myinkaba whose manufacture has become, over the years, a specialty of the region.

In the afternoon, cycling among the temples, visit the temple of Ananda, with its golden stupa shining under the sun, its colossal statues and its monastery.

Lunch at the local restaurant (light but caloric).

Dinner local restaurant and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 05

BAGAN

MONT POPA

BAGAN

Bike ride for the day. Children's Day of Burma. Then en route towards the Popa Mount. Stop on the way to see the manufacture of palm sugar then pass through the village Se SeYo. A picturesque village that still retains an ancient tradition like the hairstyles of the ancient Burmese. Continue to Sinluai with a stop for lunch and drink, visit the village and its monastery. Continue to Mount Popa.

Mount Popa, rocky peak overlooking the plain of Bagan and place of worship dedicated to the Nats, the spirits of the Burmese pantheon. At its summit is the TaungKalat Pagoda, which is reached after climbing nearly 800 steps, under the curious gaze of the monkeys. Return to Bagan by bus.

DAY 06

BAGAN

PINDAYA

Breakfast. Transport by private minibus and vehicle for bicycles. Lunch at local restaurant (light). Visit of a workshop where you can follow the different stages of manufacture of parasols shan paper, specialty of the region.

DAY 07

PINDAYA

YWA NGAN

Panoramic excursion today! Departure from the hotel after breakfast. It is best to start early this day so that we can have the opportunity to take beautiful pictures, to take breaks on the way. The landscapes are really worth admiring. You will have the opportunity to visit the plantations such as sesame fields, mustard plants (vegetables very taken in Asia) ginger and many seasonal crops all along the Shan plateau. We continue our route climbing the hills by passing Eucalyptus very fragrant, the blue water pond one of the magnificent and rare sites, a place of pilgrimage, then Ma Ma main hill. Lunch in the form of a picnic in the village of Myaing where you can enjoy the local coffee. Then we go up to YwaNgan.

DAY 08

YWA NGAN

KYAUK SAE

Today, there are very steep climbs on an uneven and rough road, so it is necessary to shoulder your bikes here and there for a journey of about 5 to 10 kilometers until you reach the caves of Padah Lin hidden in the middle of nowhere. After breakfast, we will go to villages in the western direction of the mountain. We walk about 6 kilometers until we reach the last village called HmyarKalaw, "Little Arrow." Then from there, we turn right towards the jungle pave paths but rather dilapidated and neglected. Trails are made for 4 X 4 vehicles, but with torrential rains, the dirt road becomes muddy with deep holes. It is sometimes as difficult to climb as to descend. Crossing the mountains is the most beautiful and adventurous of the off-the-beaten paths.

Then we will continue our journey to the dam and we will embark for the transfer to the village of KanSelwhere we will have our picnic. Then we continue another 30 kilometers by bike to the town of Kume.

DAY 09

KYAUK SE

Breakfast. Free time according to the remaining time. Farewell dinner at UNIQUE restaurant Leisure time until the transfer to the airport. Transfer to the international airport, take-off bound for Bangkok.
